Cascade Raptor Center

Through wildlife rehabilitation and public education, the Cascades Raptor Center fosters a connection between people and birds of prey. Our goal is to help the human part of the natural community learn to value, understand, and honor the role of wildlife in preserving the natural and cultural heritage of the Pacific Northwest.

Can I bring my pet to the center?
Sorry, but NO DOGS are allowed onsite, including in parked vehicles, as they frighten the birds. Service animals are not allowed in most guest areas. Click here for more information on our service animal policy.
When was Cascade Raptor Center founded?
In 1990, Cascades Raptor Center was officially incorporated as a nonprofit. Louise, the founder, had been doing raptor rehabilitation from her home and education at community events but pictured a site that would allow the public to visit, so she negotiated to purchase a tract of land on Fox Hollow Road from the City of Eugene.
How can I donate to Cascade Raptor Center?
We greatly appreciate any and all donations! You can make a donation online through our website, by mailing a check to our address, or by dropping off a donation in person during our business hours.
Where should I park when visiting the Cascade Raptor Center? Is the center accessible?
We ask that visitors please carpool and park their vehicles along Christiansen Rd. across Fox Hollow Rd. from our driveway. Our parking is limited and we do not have sufficient turnaround room for buses in our main lot. If you have any questions about accessibility for your vehicle, please give us a call at (541) 485-1320 ext. 0.

Note: Future growth plans include the creation of more accessible paths and parking, but this will take time and extensive renovation. Please be patient with us as we work to improve our facility!
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours are Tuesday to Sunday, from 10am to 5pm. We are closed on Mondays. Please note that during the winter months, we may close earlier due to inclement weather or low light conditions. If you have any questions about our hours, please give us a call at (541) 485-1320 ext. 0.
