Since 1994, Cascades Raptor Center has fostering connections between humans and birds of prey. Our nature center is home to nearly 40 resident education raptors and welcomes over 30,000 visitors per year. Come see what we’re about!

Hours

The center is open Tuesday-Sunday from 10AM to 4PM.

We are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

In the event of hazardous conditions like heavy ice, extreme heat, poor air quality, etc., we may opt to close for our visitors’ safety. Any temporary closures will be announced here on our website and also on our social media.

Accessibility

When visiting, you'll encounter a steep hill grade, gravel paths, and an all-outdoor tour route. Expect variable weather conditions, usually 3-5 degrees cooler than town.

Parking

We do not have turnaround room in our lot for oversized vehicles like large RVs, trailers, or full-length buses.
If our lot is full, or if you have an oversized vehicle, please park across the street on Christensen Rd. by the trailhead.

WARNING: Parking on-site is limited and can fill up on busy days.

At Cascade Raptor Center, natural behaviors come to life through sights, sounds, and occasional scents.

Please be aware that dogs are not permitted onsite, even in parked vehicles, as they can distress the birds. Unfortunately, service animals are restricted from most guest areas; find more details on our service animal policy here.
