One morning, a concerned citizen noticed a large bird lying motionless on the ground near a busy road. Realizing it was a raptor, they carefully approached the bird and saw that its right wing was severely injured. The bird was in pain and unable to move, so they contacted the Cascade Raptor Center for help.

A team of trained volunteers from the raptor center quickly arrived on the scene to assess the situation. They gently wrapped the bird in a blanket and carefully transported it back to the center's hospital for immediate medical attention.

The veterinary team at the hospital worked tirelessly to stabilize the injured raptor and diagnose the extent of the injury. They found that the bird had a broken wing, a common injury in raptors that can be difficult to treat. Despite the challenges, the team was determined to help the bird recover and return to the wild.

Over the next few weeks, the raptor received around-the-clock care and rehabilitation at the center. The staff closely monitored the bird's progress, regularly administering medication and providing physical therapy to help it regain strength in its injured wing. Eventually, after weeks of care and rehabilitation, the raptor was able to make a full recovery and was released back into the wild, where it can continue to thrive and contribute to the local ecosystem.
